You can be included in your spouse's application as an immediate family member.

Q: How Do I Apply For Singapore Permanent Residency?
As of December 2017, applicants can only submit their Singapore Permanent Residency applications via the Singapore government's Immigration & Checkpoints Authority (ICA)'s e-PR submission portal.
In order to fulfil basic documentation requirements, do have original scanned copies of the requested mandatory documents available on-hand, and ensure that all documents are in accordance with ICA submission guidelines to avoid rejection due to errors or mistakes.

Q: Why Did My Application Get Rejected?
Reasons for rejection are never disclosed.
However, there are generally two reasons an applicant gets rejected:

Q: How Long Do I Need to Wait for the Result?
A typical Singapore Permanent Residency application takes between 6 months - 12 months to process. We have, however, heard of some applications taking less than 4 months, and some beyond 1.5 years.

Q: Will I Lose Any Benefits After Attaining Singapore Permanent Residency?
In general, no. As a Singapore PR, you can retain all the benefits accorded to you by your country of origin.

Upon successful approval of your Singapore Permanent Residency application, you will ALSO be eligible for benefits within Singapore, including but not limited to:

Reduced Buyer Stamp duties to purchase Singapore property

Medical subsidies

Subsidies for children's education​

CPF contributions amounting to 17% of your salary contributed to your CPF account by your employer (e.g. for a S$6,000.00 salary, your employer has to top-up your CPF account with S$1,020.00)

*Some expats are in Singapore on an expat package, and will have car, school, or housing benefits provided to them by their employer for opting to migrate to Singapore on a work pass. Should you have an expat package provided to you, do check with HR regarding what benefits, if any, may be affected should you become a Singapore Permanent Resident.​
